My name is Shakti (Nithya Shaktiroopananda, LPC-A, and I graduated from New York University. I am currently under the supervision of Jackie Hurtado, MEd, LPC-S.
Born and raised in Singapore, then moved to Houston, Texas, I have lived on both sides of the world map. I’m bilingual and speak English and Tamil.
I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, kids, teenagers, and adults as well.
I believe that every challenge, every adversity, contains within it the seeds of opportunity and growth. I feel privileged to be a part of your life’s journey, and I look forward to working with you!
In my free time, I enjoy yoga, meditation, and practicing mindfulness in my everyday life.
