Hello, my name is MariaElena Chavez (Maria), and I’m a graduate student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Abilene Christian University. I aim to become a licensed marriage and family therapist. I earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. I enjoy collaborating with individuals, families, and couples struggling with communication issues, addictions, behavioral problems, grief, anxiety, and depression.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I have twenty years of experience working with students and families in education and advancement. By integrating faith and prayer in therapy, I can explore your story, work together through challenges, and journey towards healing, growth, and peace.

Hola, mi nombre es MariaElena Chavez (Maria) soy estudiante de posgrado en el programa de Terapia Matrimonial y Familiar de Abilene Christian University. Mi objetivo es convertirme en una terapeuta matrimonial y familiar con licencia. Obtuve mi licenciatura en Psicología de la Universidad de Houston. Me gusta colaborar con individuos, familias y parejas que luchan con problemas de comunicación, adicciones, problemas de conducta, duelo, ansiedad y depresión.
