Amy Azih, PA-C, CAQ
District Counseling is pleased to have Amy Azih as part of our team. She provides psychiatric treatment in Houston, Cypress, Katy, and virtually throughout the state of Texas. Throughout her 7 year career, Amy Azih, a Psychiatric Physician Assistant, saw that regardless of location, our community needed a more convenient and comprehensive mental health care.
Servicing a wide-range of specialties with an integrative mental health approach, Amy ensures her patients can receive quality care from the comfort of their own homes in the entire state of Texas.
With a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Houston and a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada, PA Azih plans to not only thoughtfully prescribe psychiatric medicine but work with your therapist to incorporate a comprehensive treatment plan.
Research supports the integration of evidence-based psychotherapy treatments and medication intervention. Amy alongside of your therapist will be here to support you through this difficult moment and get you back to you!
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES:
We do not prescribe any controlled substances (including but not limited to stimulants for the treatment of ADHD, sedative-hypnotics for the treatment of insomnia, or benzodiazepines for the treatment of anxiety). We use only non-scheduled medications at our practice. We are happy to discuss non-controlled substances for your needs but will not be able to prescribe any controlled substances.
